Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Bizio: the bizio.store website, merchant storefronts hosted on our platform, and the Bizio mobile app. By using Bizio you agree to them.

What Bizio is

Bizio provides tools for small businesses ("merchants") to host a storefront, list products and services, take orders and custom-order requests, and accept payments. Each storefront is owned and operated by its merchant. When you buy from a storefront, your purchase contract is with that merchant, not with Bizio.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Merchants are the sellers of record and are responsible for their products, pricing, taxes, fulfillment, refunds, and compliance with applicable law. Bizio charges merchants a platform fee on transactions.

Merchant responsibilities

  • Provide accurate product information and honor the orders you accept.
  • Only sell lawful goods and services.
  • Handle customer data you receive through Bizio responsibly and lawfully.
  • Keep your account credentials secure.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the platform: no unlawful content or goods, no infringing others' intellectual property, no attempts to breach security, and no spam. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Content

Merchants retain ownership of the content they upload (photos, product descriptions, branding) and grant Bizio a license to host and display it to operate the service. Customers who upload photos with a custom-order request grant the merchant and Bizio a license to use them to fulfill that order.

Text messaging program

Businesses on Bizio may offer an opt-in text-message program (specials, birthday rewards, and loyalty updates). By checking the opt-in box on a signup form you consent to receive recurring automated marketing texts from that business at the number you provided; consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel at any time and HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Disclaimers

Bizio is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for disputes between customers and merchants. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees the merchant paid Bizio in the three months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms; continued use after changes means you accept them.
