Privacy Policy

Bizio ("we", "us") provides storefront, order management, and payment tools for small businesses ("merchants") and the customers who buy from them. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. It covers bizio.store, merchant storefronts hosted on our platform, and the Bizio mobile app.
What we collect
- Merchant accounts: name, email, password (stored as a secure hash), business details, and the products, orders, and settings you create.
- Customer orders and inquiries: name, email, phone number, order details, custom-order answers, and photos you choose to upload as inspiration for a custom order.
- Payments: processed by Stripe. We never see or store full card numbers. We receive confirmation of payment, amounts, and the email used at checkout.
- Device data: if a merchant enables notifications in the mobile app, we store a push token so we can deliver order alerts. Basic logs (IP address, timestamps) are kept for security and debugging.
How we use it
- To run the merchant's storefront: take orders, process payments, and send order emails.
- To notify merchants of new orders, inquiries, and payments (email and push notifications).
- To let customers view their order history when they create an account.
- To prevent fraud and keep the platform secure.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Who sees your data
- The merchant you buy from sees your order details, contact info, and uploaded photos, so they can fulfill your order.
- Service providers: Stripe (payments), Supabase (secure data hosting), Vercel (website hosting), and Resend (transactional email). Each processes data only to provide their service.
- We disclose information if required by law.
Text messages (SMS)
Some businesses on Bizio offer text-message updates (specials, birthday rewards, loyalty program news). You only receive texts if you explicitly opt in, for example by checking the "text me" box on a business's loyalty signup form. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, and reply HELP for help.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, except as necessary to deliver the messages themselves (our messaging provider, Twilio).
Data retention and deletion
Order records are kept as long as the merchant's account is active (they are business records). You can ask us, or the merchant you purchased from, to delete your personal information; email ray@vernontm.com and we will respond within 30 days. Merchants can request full account deletion at the same address.
Children
Bizio is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the date above.
